SolutionPro Sysadmins recently completed turn-up, and testing of a new email server blacklist monitoring system. As the spammers continue to innovate, so do we. The problem is these pirates of the internet highways don't need your machine anymore. All they need is the name of your mail server. Once they have that they can use it as a spoof. So it appears to the entity that maintains these blacklists that your email server is the sender when, in fact, it was not. This can cause your server to be blacklisted, when in fact you never sent one piece of spam. Here's how SolutionPro has helped...
This service queries the IP address of your mail server every five minutes against 35 different email black lists. Upon discovering your email server's IP address on one of these lists the system will generate an alert to our NOC.
Our NOC agents will follow your defined procedure by either sending you an email or placing a phone call to your designated agent to advise them of the alert.
Benefits
This will greatly reduce the time that your IP is blacklisted by notifying you as soon as it happens. The sooner you are aware of being blacklisted the sooner you can react to mitigate the issue that caused the listing and expedite the removal of the listing. The longer you sit on the blacklist the more of your sent mail will go undelivered to your intended recipients.
