SolutionPro Network engineers successfully turned up Qwest as a new IP provider. This represents a significant upgrade in the type of IP capacity that SolutionPro has. Qwest is considered a Tier-1 bandwidth provider which gives SolutionPro access to the top BGP routes in the region.
Because this connectivity is delivered via a Gigabit port on Qwest’s fiber ring, it means SolutionPro becomes more nimble when it’s time to grow. SolutionPro now maintains multi-homed connections across multiple carriers using Gig-E ports. This is part of the value-add that SolutionPro colocation customers get by being in the SolutionPro facility.
